On realization of Karlštejn course were participated by world-renowned architects Les Furber and Jim Eremka. Course with the first eighteen holes was opened in 1993 and in 2008 was completed other nine holes. Both architects did an excellent job to set this course perfectly into an impressive landscape, where is certainly main landmark the castle of czech kings Karlštejn. Neighborhood landscape is hilly with large concentrations of forests and calcareous rocks, which is rich for flora and fauna. The atmosphere of the historic Karlstejn and the surrounding countryside offers to every golfer amazing experiences. Karlštejn hosted the PGA European Tour in 1997, where met many eminent and illustrious golfers. The course is mainly characterized by rugged terrain with many natural obstacles and sandy places. Close to preserve native vegetation with beautifully verdant greens are made to perfection by the response of golfers. Course is designed for a wide clientele and players with big differences of handicaps.
