About the course
The Centenary Course is one of the youngest of the three courses at Gleneagles. World-renowned architect and golfing great Jack Nicklaus has taken great care to ensure that the course meets the criteria in the country where the sport of golf was born. He said of the course that it was the finest ground work he had done in his time as an architect. The course is known for its variety and each player has to show a lot of ability and skill. A feature of the Gleneagles Centenary Course is undoubtedly the picturesque scenery around the greens, and its selectable difficulty due to the five different types of tees on each hole makes it a very popular course.
