This nuanced response starts at the top of every golfer’s list with the Royal County Down and Royal Portrush courses, ranked 1st and 7th in Golf Digest’s World’s 100 Best Golf Courses.

Portrush’s open course, Dunluce Links, and the underrated Valley Links present an exciting 36-hole day. As for the Royal County Down course, which also has the handy Annesley Links with a par 66, its Championship course status remains unchanged as the best golf course outside the US. The holes of the County Down course consist of 18 perfectly constructed mysteries, some are blind, but all are inviting and beautifully perfect!
