About the course
A hidden gem…
Nestled among the dunes and across the Craigewan Links, this course is a classic example of Scottish seaside golf at its best – and hardest!
Peterhead Golf Club was founded in 1841.
The current 18-hole course, ‘Craigewan Links’, was laid out as a 9-hole course in 1892 to a design by Willie Park Jr, a two-time Open Championship winner, and was extended to 18 holes in 1908. A second 18-hole course was established in 1923, but today exists as a 9-hole course aptly named “New Course”.
