About the course
Turnberry, like St Andrews, is ranked among the world’s best greens. It regularly hosts golf tournaments as part of the British Open. Although Turnberry is considered more of a junior golfer’s paradise, its difficulty makes it one of the most popular venues for championship events. A very popular course in the eyes of golfers with arguably the most beautiful scenery, thanks to the fantastic views of the Atlantic Ocean and the Scottish coastline.
