It all started at Karlštejn as part of the Fido Golf Exlusive Tour, where Ondřej Pravda was an invited guest and told us about golf in Scotland and the opportunity to play the St Andrews Old Course. At first we didn’t believe him that it was even possible to get on the course, but thanks to Ondrej we were already standing at Edinburgh airport in 8 people and heading to St Andrews.
Some people might think that it’s a total nonsense to go to play golf somewhere cold, rainy and windy when it’s a perfect 20°C back home in the Czech Republic. It’s a trip into the history of golf with everything that goes with it and I mean from the beautiful old clubhouse, the beautiful course (we played 5 of them), the great bars in town and to our surprise the excellent restaurants. And the whisky really tastes best right after a game in the clubhouse.
Ondřej and Tomáš from ParadeGolf prepared a great program and took care of us impeccably throughout the tour. Even the most demanding of our golf group, who have already traveled a lot of the world, admitted that they have never seen such a great service and will be happy to come back to see the guys.
Once again, a big thank you and we hope to play golf with Ondra and Tomáš again, or at least invite them for a beer in return.
