Carnoustie also known as”Carnasty” is considered one of the toughest courses ever. It was founded in 1842 by Tom Morris and later in 1926 was expanded to current form by James Braid. Course is very popular for local people and really is not designed for players with a high handicap, although it is a challenge for everyone. Course boasts an incredibly adapted greens all year round, a lot of treacherous bunkers and water ditches. Wind from coast makes the game even more difficult. Carnoustie is a test for a really capable player, but anyone who has the pleasure of playing golf will be thrilled over his diversity, pitfalls and difficulty.
