Craighead is the work of American architect Gil Hanse. This relatively new field was created by combining modern innovations referring to the history of Scottish golf. The golf course is situated on the horizont near by Fife and offers stunning views on the Bass Rock, Forth Estuary, Edinburg and even 97 km distant St Abbs Head. It is a classic links course, where you will find a large curled greens, historical and natural walls and you can meet typical wildlife of Scotland. There are not any trees which restrict to the fairways. Players will meet not only terrain obstacles, but great work here doing offshore wind. Especially for experienced players is wind very popular, because they have to prove really great shots. Proof of great level and large popularity of the course is countless professional and amateur competitions.
