Eden Course

About the course

The Eden Course was built in 1914 by architect Harry S. Colt, with later changes credited to Donald Steele. A less challenging and long course compared to its peers, it has its interesting and challenging elements. The Eden Course certainly has its charms and the third and fourth holes in particular offer breathtaking views of the coastline at St Andrews. The course is predominantly made up of natural vegetation, with many tricky bunkers, lots of contours around the greens and undulating playing fields. Although the Eden Course is more of a course for the less demanding golfer, its character is sure to be appreciated by any golfer.
