About the course
Situated on the cliffs between Highcliffe and Milford-on-Sea, Barton-on-Sea Golf Club offers 27 holes of golf with spectacular views across the Solent to the Isle of Wight Needles.Three nine-hole courses start and finish near the clubhouse.
The club was founded in 1897 by a group of golfers, including Sir Robert Affleck, and these founder members played on a nine-hole course on the cliff top to the west of where the club is now situated, next to the Barton Court Hotel.
