About the course
One of the best links golf courses in the world with Scottish hospitality.
Dunbar has over 400 years of golfing history. Dunbar Golf Club was founded in 1856 and is located on the ‘Golf Coast of Scotland’ in East Lothian.
The true links course, which has been redesigned over the years by the likes of Old Tom Morris, boasts well defined holes that follow the natural contours of the narrow links strip between the old red sandstone wall of Deer Park and the rocky coastline that are the hallmarks of the links.
To play a qualifying round at The Open Championship links is to be up against a course that nature has shaped for over 150 years, it is to follow in the footsteps of the world’s best golfers.
We are confident that you will enjoy your round with us on a course that is regularly rated as one of the best in the country. A warm welcome awaits you at Dunbar Golf Club.
