15. OLDEST RECORDED CLUB IN THE WORLD (1793).
Located on the Chanonry Peninsula on the ‘Black Isle’, our championship Scottish Links golf course offers breathtaking views of the Moray Firth, just 20 minutes from Inverness. Our championship links course is the 15th oldest recorded club in the world (1793). The course was redesigned in 1932 by five-time Open champion James Braid .
Fortrose & Rosemarkie Golf Club has been awarded the Best Scottish Golf Course/Facility in our category at the Scottish Golf Tourism Awards – March 2024. We have been awarded the Outstanding Service Award for 2021 by the International Association of Golf Tour Operators , where only eight clubs in Scotland have won this award. This year we will host the World Hickory Open Championship – October 2024.
