Machrihanish (Championship)

About the course

Machrihanish is a remote, rugged and natural . The Championship Course, which regularly appears on the GB&I and World Rankings, is a collector’s item.
The iconic Championship Course is one of the largest unaltered links courses in the world. The course is a traditional out-and-back links that winds around Machrihanish Beach away from the village and back home at the halfway point.
The round begins with one of the most amazing opening tees in golf, played over the corner of the beach. However, the excitement continues throughout the round. The course, with a par 70 from the normal tees, contains only two par 5s, both at the start of the back nine.

You have to make an extra effort to get to Machrihanish, but it’s worth it. The welcome is extremely friendly and the golf absolutely unforgettable. Expect to leave this place with a broad smile on your face.
