About the course
Opened on 17 June 1922, the eighteen-hole parkland course at Pitreavie Golf Club in Dunfermline, Fife, offers great golf to individuals, groups, visitors, golf clubs and corporate clients. A truly warm Scottish welcome, excellent golfing facilities and great hospitality await you. The course was designed by internationally renowned architect Dr Alister MacKenzie (1870-1934), who is most famous for designing one of the world’s finest courses, Augusta National in Georgia, home of the US Masters Tournament. His influence is strongly felt at Pitreavie, not least on the two and three-tier greens. Although born in Yorkshire in 1870, Alister MacKenzie had some influence on Scottish golf and was a great enthusiast of Scottish links.
