About the course
Royal Musselburgh Golf Club is situated at the start of the famous stretch of golf courses on the East Lothian coast, east of Musselburgh on the B1361, and this picturesque parkland course is definitely worth a visit.
The club is the sixth oldest in the world, having originated on the nine-hole Musselburgh Levenhall links course, where the Honourable Company of Edinburgh Golfers, Royal Burgess Golfing Society and Bruntsfield Golf Club have also played.
The pride of Royal Musselburgh is the 1774 Old Club Cup, the oldest trophy still played for in the world.
