About the course
Royal Troon Golf Club was founded in 1878. The architects managed to realise a true jewel of the Scottish coastline. Royal Troon hosts many golf tournaments as part of the British Open. The course is one of the most challenging, the second nine is even rated as the hardest in the world. Players here have to contend not only with strong winds, but also a varied terrain with thick bushes, including deep spots. Participants are absolutely mesmerised by the impressive Scottish coastline, which is truly enchanting.
