About the course
The new course by renowned architect Dr. Martin Hawtree was built in 2012 and is one of the largest courses in the world. Hawtree followed the classic two nines in one loop design. The 18 holes take players through soaring panoramic views of the Scottish coastline, down into low valleys made up of native vegetation. It is the varied transitions on each hole that are characteristic, with both challenging and easier passages, so there is something for all fans of the sport.
