Course Kittocks is a new addition to the ranks of St Andrews. It was built in 2002 by architect Bruce Delvin and is created in the American spirit, but also respects all traditions of the Scottish courts. It is located on higher ground near to cliffs, so the location offers extraordinery scenery of both on the coast and the North Sea and the city of St. Andrews. Course prefers American-style artificial lakes, but the layout of bunkers and double greens still follow the tradition of St Andrews. Necessary to highlight the high quality of local greens, offering all year-round golf experience. Kittocks is the optimal course for more advanced players, but for his nature and flexibility is intended for a wider group of golfers. Part of the course is a five-star hotel Fairmont.
