Prestwick Golf Club

About the course

Prestwick is one of the courses with a rich history, having hosted the first British Open in 1860. Apart from a few design changes, the course has remained in its original condition since its inception and offers some truly great moments. Players will really have a lot of fun here. Lots of rough, sand dunes and grassland. As the course has more or less retained its original character, there are a large number of blind strokes where players have to show their feel for the game and strategy. A very interesting course in many ways and every golfer should try to play this links. By the way, whoever is on the course wearing a jacket and tie will have the opportunity to enjoy a drink on the 19th hole.
