About the course
It is one of Scotland’s oldest courses ever and the thirteenth oldest course in the world. Although the architect is not known, references to its creation suggest 1832. North Berwick is a very attractive course with varied terrain and natural conditions. The game requires a great deal of experience and tactical skill. Superbly manicured greens are available all year round. Of particular note is the 15th hole, The “Redan“, which has remained unchanged for 150 years and has been an inspiration to many architects for its perfect design.
